There are four effective exercises that you can practice to develop your jumping skills. But before doing any of them, make sure your body is ready. Do a series of warm ups first before exercising. 1. Toe Raises – You may think toe raises seem insignificant but this exercise is in fact very helpful in making your jumps higher. It helps increase the strength of your calf muscles. Calf muscles are important in your jumping skills. To intensify your toe raises exercise, you can put on weight vests or ankle weights.
2. Running Exercise – Running exercise helps improve your jumps. You can do some sprints with distance running every other day. Increased explosiveness in the leg muscles is essential for higher jumps while endurance keeps your body running.

4. Chalk Jumping Exercise – Chalk jumping exercise is actually more of a monitoring activity. It is intended to see your progress. What you just have to do is grab a chalk, raise your arms and mark the wall. Then, still holding the chalk, jump in front of the wall and mark the height on the peak of your jump.
